GDUSA’s annual “Responsible Designers” feature recognizes creative professionals who are using graphic design to address global issues and drive positive change for people and the planet. In 2024, the range of topics these designers tackle has expanded significantly since the report’s inception, but all share a common goal: to cut through the noise, communicate urgency, and shape commerce, culture, and causes in powerful ways. For over six decades, GDUSA has championed design as a tool for social impact, and today, its relevance is more profound than ever.

Among those featured in GDUSA’s 2024 Responsible Designers to Watch is our founder, Hilary Lentini, and Lentini Design and Marketing, Inc. (LDM).

I’m especially proud of our work with LA Metro. They’re trailblazers in Sustainability and Environmental Justice. We’ve assisted with the design of many of their print and digital materials that educate others about the importance of Sustainability with an EJ lens and how this can impact the broader community for good. For our own part, we’re a corporate partner with Evertreen.com to plant trees as part of the Redwoods Reforestation Revival initiative. The trees LDM plants will offset 10.8 tons of CO2 this year alone.
